Matrice 350 RTK Commercial Drone with Zenmuse H30T from DJI can handle nearly any professional mission. This model of the Matrice 350 RTK is almost ready for flight. It requires the addition of two TB65 flight batteries for its dual-battery system. Out of the box, the Matrice 350 RTK comes with a H30T payload. That includes a 40MP 4K30 zoom and 48MP 4K30 wide lens, laser range finder, thermal imaging camera, and NIR auxiliary light. The drone can withstand harsh weather conditions, delivering stable, HD. And long-range data transmissions with O3 Enterprise. Pilots can enjoy intuitive flight control with the included DJI RC Plus controller. To help keep the drone running long-term, a host of enhanced flight safety features are built-in. And one year of Care Basic coverage is included.
Multi-Payload Support
With an E-Port open interface, the Matrice 350 RTK can support up to three simultaneous payloads, such as the included H30T.
Zenmuse H30T Payload
Made up of five different imaging devices, the Zenmuse H30T is DJI’s flagship payload that’s an ideal solution for many different industries and professions. Such as search and rescue, infrastructure inspection, forestry, firefighting, and more. They consist of wide-angle, zoom, and infrared thermal cameras, a laser rangefinder, and NIR auxiliary light. They are housed in an all-weather gimbal with IP54-rated dust and water resistance and an operating temperature range from -20 to 50 °C.
Five Imaging Devices
- Wide-Angle: 48MP stills with 4K30 video recording at a DFOV of 82.1°.
- Telephoto Zoom: 40MP stills with 4K30 video recording at up to 32x optical and 400x digital zoom. Image stabilization is also offered when zoomed to reduce shake for stable and clear content.
- Infrared Thermal: 1280 x 1024 resolution at 30 Hz with a temperature measurement range of -20° to 1600°C (with optional Infrared Density Filter). It also offers up to 32x digital zoom. With an auto-activating UHR (Ultra-High Resolution) mode when zoomed in at high levels to maintain a clear image.
- Laser Rangefinder: 3-3000 m measurement range. Capture linear distance from the gimbal. As well as the objects’ altitude and GPS coordinates.
- NIR Auxiliary Light: Provides a 8 m diameter circle of near-infrared light from 100 m away. Helping to achieve a clearer zoomed image for the wide and zoom sensors in Night Scene mode.
Features and Modes
- Night Scene Mode: Available to both wide and zoom sensors, this enhances low-light recording for more detail and clarity. It can be used in full-color or black and white with the NIR auxiliary light, achieving a greater contrast to more easily locate subjects.
- Three Gain Modes: The infrared thermal camera can use High Gain for more precise temperature measurements. Low Gain for a wider temperature range, or High-Res to better observe subjects with small temperature differences for easier identification.
- Link Zoom: Scale side-by-side telephoto and thermal images simultaneously.
- Smart Capture: In this mode, the telephoto and thermal sensors automatically asses the brightness and dynamic range of ambient light. Apply intelligent image algorithms, and output photos with nature transitions between light and dark, even in areas of strong and dynamic lighting.
- Electronic Dehazing: The zoom sensor can use the dehazing function at low or high levels to improve image clarity in smog or high atmospheric humidity conditions.
- Pre-Recording: Supported by all of the camera sensors, the payload can retain footage from 10, 15, or 30 seconds before you formally begin recording. Helping to ensure that you don’t miss important moments.
- Media and Transmission Encryption with One-Click Clearance: A security code can encrypt microSD cards with AES-256 encryption to fully protect your content. This also secures transmissions between the remote and drone. And supports 1-click log clearance to prevent information leaks.
- Cloud Information Sync for Collaborative Ground and Air Operations: Operators can view live footage from the drone through DJI FlightHub 2 in the cloud. Helping to facilitate fast remote commands and more efficient air-to-ground operations.
Long Distance and Extreme Weather
The DJI Matrice 350 RTK is built to handle demanding professional missions in harsh environments. O3 Enterprise transmission uses a four-antenna system for control and live data feeds up to 8 km away. The drone’s motor is capable of horizontal speeds up to 23 m/s. The frame of the drone can handle altitudes of up to 7 km, winds up to 12 m/s, and temperatures from a chilling -20° to a blistering 50°C.
DJI O3 Enterprise Transmission
A four-antenna system on both the Matrice and RC Plus is used for long-range control, data transmission, and minimizing interference. The RC Plus intelligently selects the best two antennas for transmission, while all four antennas on the drone simultaneously receive signals. Once in flight, this system is capable of triple-channel 1080p live feeds and a maximum range of 8 km.
RC Plus Controller
Included with the Matrice 350 RTK is an RC Plus controller with a 7″ bright, 1200-nit color display. It runs DJI Pilot 2 to display flight information and provides pilots with control over both the drone and the included H30T payload. Control is made to be flexible and intuitive, with customizable buttons on the front, back, and top. If dedicated piloting and gimbal operation are needed, the remote supports dual operators.
Nearly as robust as the Matrice 350 RTK, the RC Plus is IP54 rated for significant dust and water resistance in harsh weather. The missions you fly with the RC Plus can be highly sensitive. Which is why DJI offers multiple data security methods. Such as media data encryption, AES-256 video transmission encryption, a local data mode, one-tap clear all device data, and support for the Cloud API.
Enhanced Flight Safety
- Arm Lock Indicator: Arm lock detection will notify you on the controller display if any arm is unlocked. Preventing you from taking off until they are all set in the locked position.
- Night Vision FPV Camera: Working together with the PinPoint function, the night vision camera can clearly display surrounding objects on the controller.
- Six-Directional Sensing and Positioning: The Matrice 350 RTK can sense objects in nearly every direction and avoid them automatically, thanks to a six-directional binocular vision system and infrared sensing system.
- Multilayered Redundancy Design: With redundant components in both the aircraft and sensor systems, flights can continue, and objects can be avoided if certain components fail in harsh operating environments.
Mission Capabilities
With various combinations of gimbal payloads and DJI software, the Matrice 350 RTK can perform a wide variety of mission types. Here are a few of the things the Matrice 350 RTK can accomplish.
- High-Precision Mapping: With a compatible payload camera and software, the Matrice 350 RTK can work together with DJI Terra to generate HD 2D and 3D maps. In addition to mapping, it can fly waypoint, oblique, and linear flight missions.
- Air-to-Ground Coordination: Using PinPoint, FlightHub 2, and the right payload, the Matrice 350 RTK can link air, ground, and cloud together. For example, after mission completion, data can be transmitted directly to flight and ground operators, as well as live streamed in real time.
- Automated Precision Inspection: With the right payload camera and AI Spot-Check, the Matrice 350 RTK can take the time-consuming complexity out of industrial inspections. Multiple flight routes can be stored and repeated, and subjects can be automatically framed with the ability to make manual adjustments.
